Larson Gross Expands Washington Presence Through Blume Keeney Acquisition
Regional accounting firm Larson Gross has completed the acquisition of Blume Keeney, marking a strategic expansion of its operational footprint within Washington state. The transaction, which became effective on September 15, strengthens the firm presence in Snohomish County and across the greater Puget Sound region.
Expanding Regional Footprint and Capabilities
Blume Keeney operates a single office located in Everett, Washington, bringing a specialized team consisting of three partners and one staff member into the larger organization. Headquartered in Bellingham, Washington, Larson Gross is recognized as an Accounting Today Regional Leader in the West, operating with multiple offices across the state.
Kelli Visser, chief executive officer of Larson Gross, emphasized the strategic alignment between the two organizations. According to Visser, the integration aims to build upon the foundation that Blume Keeney has established, maintaining a shared commitment to client relationships, trust, and proactive advisory support as client needs develop over time.
Growth Strategy and Recent Transactions
This latest transaction follows another strategic move earlier in the month, when Larson Gross acquired ScaleUp Financial Solutions to broaden its consulting and advisory service offerings. Earlier in 2025, the firm also joined Current, which previously operated under the name Crete Professionals Alliance, serving as a platform firm within that network.
