LRQA Expands Global Footprint with Acquisition of Omega Compliance
Risk management solutions provider LRQA has announced the acquisition of Omega Compliance, a supply chain monitoring and integrity services specialist headquartered in Hong Kong. Backed by Goldman Sachs Asset Management, LRQA aims to leverage this transaction to deepen its capabilities in responsible sourcing, supply chain transparency, and product traceability across complex international networks.
Omega Compliance has built its market reputation by assisting clients in retail, apparel, and other consumer-driven sectors to navigate increasingly stringent regulatory demands. The firm delivers a comprehensive suite of monitoring services, including on-site supplier audits, supplier improvement initiatives, migrant worker protection solutions, supply chain security, anti-corruption compliance programs, and advanced traceability frameworks.
Strategic Growth and Regional Expertise
The integration of Omega Compliance brings critical regional knowledge to LRQA, particularly across key manufacturing and sourcing hubs in China, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Turkey. These regions represent vital nodes in global trade where regulatory scrutiny and demands for ethical labor practices continue to intensify.
Jon White, Managing Director of Omega Compliance, noted that joining forces with a larger global entity enables the firm to scale its operations while maintaining its core commitments to integrity and trusted client relationships. By combining local operational expertise with broader international reach, the combined organization expects to deliver enhanced value to multinational brands operating in fragmented markets.
A Pattern of Expansion in Supply Chain Resilience
This transaction forms part of an aggressive acquisition strategy pursued by LRQA since its separation from Lloyd’s Register under Goldman Sachs ownership in 2021. The organization has steadily added specialized service providers to its portfolio to address growing corporate demand for end-to-end supply chain visibility and risk mitigation.

Ian Spaulding, Chief Executive Officer of LRQA, emphasized that the purchase aligns directly with the company strategy of building meaningful operational capabilities in the geographies and service domains that matter most to corporate clients. As regulatory frameworks surrounding forced labor, environmental impact, and corporate accountability evolve globally, enterprise buyers increasingly rely on integrated digital and on-the-ground solutions to safeguard their operations.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Both companies indicated that the integration process will focus on combining digital capabilities with established regional auditing networks to support growing industry demand for transparent and ethical procurement practices.
