Tipalti Expands Financial Operations Suite with New Treasury Solution
Payments and finance platform Tipalti has introduced a fully integrated treasury solution designed to connect real-time cash visibility and automated forecasting directly with accounts payable operations. The new offering, named Tipalti Treasury, addresses common challenges faced by corporate finance departments struggling to manage liquidity proactively and mitigate risk across fragmented systems.
Enhancing Cash Visibility and Control
The solution aims to provide finance teams with a comprehensive overview of their financial positions, equipping them with tools for more informed decision-making. By automatically consolidating bank and financial data into a single dashboard, users gain an up-to-date view of daily cash positions without manually combining bank portal downloads and spreadsheets. Key features include the ability to filter details by bank, account, entity, or currency.
Furthermore, users can evaluate their cash position alongside accounts payable activities already managed within Tipalti’s cloud-based platform. This integration brings added context to payment and funding decisions, eliminating the need to transfer data between separate software tools. Additionally, the platform delivers an updated 13-week cash flow projection built from bank transactions, enterprise resource planning data such as NetSuite records, open accounts receivable invoices, and scheduled payments.
Addressing Modern Financial Complexity
According to Idan Vlodinger, vice president of treasury solutions at Tipalti, treasury management has evolved beyond basic cash tracking. He noted that organizations need to understand capital placement, anticipate future requirements, and make decisions with greater confidence. Vlodinger pointed out that many businesses continue to rely on outdated information and disconnected systems that fail to match the speed and complexity of the global economy. By merging treasury functions with accounts payable in a unified environment, the company aims to give finance teams the control needed to navigate market shifts.
Broader Technological Updates
This product launch follows other recent technological updates from the company, including an artificial intelligence agent built to handle accounts payable processes. The autonomous tool utilizes vendor history, general ledger information, accounting guidelines, and corporate policies to execute context-aware tasks while escalating exceptions for human review. Together, these tools reflect an ongoing industry push toward automation and unified financial management.
